Health first

Your monitoring wakes you up. Datadog, Grafana or PagerDuty tell you that something is wrong, and next you need two answers: which part of the server is in trouble, and what you can do about it from the phone. Health gives you the first answer on one screen. The second takes one more tap: the transaction at the root of a lock chain, the migration stuck behind it, the column about to run out of AUTO_INCREMENT values.

So the app opens on Health. The table browser and the SQL console are there too, for the incidents that need them.

The rules it keeps

No server of ours in the path. The app connects to your database directly or through your SSH bastion. Credentials stay in the iOS Keychain on your iPhone, and the AI assistant sends its questions straight to the model you chose.
Honest screens. Without the PROCESS privilege MySQL shows you only your own threads. RowDeck says so and shows the GRANT that fixes it. A metric it can't read shows a reason, never a zero.
Four checks before a write. A write runs after the Pro check, the connection's Read-only switch, the SQL classifier and your confirmation. For destructive steps you type the target first.
Some fixes stay at your desk. RowDeck copies DROP INDEX and ALTER … BIGINT for you and leaves running them to you. It doesn't purge binlogs or skip a transaction on a replica.
Monitoring one server is free. Pro is one purchase for unlimited servers and the actions, with no subscription and no account.

The family

RowDeck is the fourth of the developer's iPhone apps for production databases, and a near twin of HeapDeck: if you run both PostgreSQL and MySQL, the two apps work the same way.
